The Fringe Fashion

I’m sorry but if it’s one trend that I would LOVE to see disappear is the fringe trend. Can we say HIDEOUS?!!!!
World reknowned designers such as Alexander McQueen, Jil Sander and Alberta Ferretti have used the fringe in their Spring/Summer 2009 lines.
Popular fashion site fashionising.com has reported on how you should wear it. Stating, “It depends largely upon the style and themeing of the piece. A pair of long, toned legs work wonders for a short fringed skirt; those lacking need to be a tad more cautious. The appeal of fringing also owes alot to the way it moves, so pay careful attention to buying quality fabrics that shimmy and shine and don’t clump unattractively together.” However, in my opinion, no matter how one tries to pull off this burgeoning trend, it can’t be done.
WAIT!!! I stand corrected, NOT!!!!
Movie star Rachel Bilson was caught wearing a shredded-like creation. I’m not sure if it was a western inspired theme or if it’s just a poncho gone wrong, but this type of style just isn’t working people. Why can’t you all see it? Loving the Christian Louboutin pumps though Rachel. At least you’ve got taste in shoes.
There are even fringed accesories, for example the Cleobella Kyler Fringe Bag (first left) and the Melie Bianco Double Fringe Hobo (second), Sam Edelman Ursula Boots and the purple Fringe Pumps (which actually do not look that bad).
Now go out my fashion subjects and make the wise decision.
Buy and defile, or be fashionable and buy some Grecian fashions(below) instead
