The New Zealand music star is making her crossover into the American market & she seems to be doing quite well so far.
Gin, usually known for her folk rock sound in New Zealand & Australia, is now taking more of a pop direction. However, not totally abandoning her signature sound.
Many may know her for her recent stint in James Bond’s ‘Skyfall’ Heineken commercial. Wigmore is the blonde beauty you see singing on stage in the advert, and her catchy track ‘Man Like That’ was what you were hearing.
Wigmore was also recently featured in the hit drama series ‘Revenge’, with their special ‘Gift of Revenge’ show presented by Target & Neiman Marcus, where she gave a full performance of her hit song ‘Black Sheep’.
I find her voice extremely intoxicating. That’s in a good way, hahaha. I would encourage you all give her a listen. Her style also intrigues me. It appears to be a sexy clash of rock n’ roll & hippie. I look forward to keeping my eye on this starlet’s crossover career. I predict more great things to come.
